If you like wine, do yourself a favor and go out and buy yourself a carafe and decant every bottle of wine you open. This allows the wine to breathe and open up. It makes a mediocre wine

magnificent. If you don't believe me try this little test for yourself. Open a bottle of your favorite wine, pour a glass for yourself and pour the reminder into a decanter. Let the wine in the decanter sit for about 20 minutes to open up. I'll bet the decanted wine wins the contest hands-down!
